The Clovering app

Clovering has no servers and no account of its own. The app pulls the readings from your smart ring over a local Bluetooth connection and writes them straight into Apple Health on your iPhone. This is a purely local, on-device write: no network connection is needed and it works fully offline, airplane mode included. Nothing is ever sent to us or any third party.

Health data is never used for advertising, marketing, or data mining, and is never shared with or sold to any third party.

Any cloud sync is handled entirely by iOS, not by Clovering. If you have turned on Health in iCloud, the operating system syncs your HealthKit data to your own end-to-end-encrypted Health store in the background. Clovering has no involvement in, visibility into, or code for that step; it only writes locally, and iOS takes care of the rest. We have no way to see, collect, or store your readings.

This website

This site (clovering.app) is a simple marketing page. It collects no information about you at all.

What we collect: nothing. There is no form, no sign-up, and no account, so the site never asks you for personal information.
No tracking: the site uses no analytics, advertising, cookies, or third-party trackers.
Stored on your device: your light/dark theme choice is saved locally in your browser and never leaves your device.

Apple Health & compatibility

Once your data is in Apple Health, you can visualize it directly in the native Apple Health app or any HealthKit-compatible app.
